Non-profit directors and staff are invited to share and learn from their peers about the successes and challenges they’ve experienced with their organization. This event features quick presentations from non-profit leaders in the Longmont community.
This opportunity to connect and establish relationships comes just two months before Unity in the Community, the largest non-profit community event in Longmont. Food and beverage will be provided!

About Our Speakers
LUH Foundation: Board Engagement
Josh Atherton was hired as the Executive Director of the Longmont United Hospital Foundation in October of 2023 after a 6-year career as the Executive Director of the St. Vrain Valley Schools Education Foundation. Josh, a dedicated Longmont native, has established himself as an influential figure in the non-profit sector, amassing over two decades of experience as an executive including a 14-year career with the Boy Scouts of America. A proud alumni of Skyline High School and the University of Northern Colorado, Josh's commitment to his community is evident in his continued dedication to making Longmont a better place for all.
Chrysti Britt
Cultivate: Setting Realistic Goals
Chrysti is the Executive Director of Cultivate, a non-profit providing aging-related services in Boulder, Broomfield and Weld Counties. Her passion is supporting underserved and underrepresented populations. She holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Criminal Justice focusing on Global Issues and has conducted postgraduate research centered around the Impacts of Societal Gender Norms on Juvenile Delinquency. Chrysti’s extensive background in civil services, emergency medical services, human services and higher education has enabled her to engage with an array of community agencies and organizations across many disciplines. Chrysti’s work and community involvement has spanned areas such as juvenile delinquency; medical care for jail inmates; supporting first-generation college students and DREAMERS looking for equitable education opportunities; assisting in disaster recovery; providing services for aging adults; building pathways to support youth sports and programming; and supporting Veteran causes and organizations. She was honored with the 2020 Women Who Light the Community recognition for her contributions to the communities she cares about.
Matt Eldred
TLC Learning Center: Fundraising
Matt Eldred is in his 12th year as Executive Director of TLC Learning Center. Matt has worked with a variety of for-profit and non-profit organizations, both in Early Childhood education as well as other human service organizations. Matt is a past president of nearly every early childhood or non-profit association and organization in Boulder County including the Boulder County Association for the Education of Young Children (BCAEYC), St. Vrain Valley School District and Boulder Valley School District Early Childhood Councils, The Early Childhood Council of Boulder County, Front Range Community College Boulder Campus Early Childhood Council, Human Services Alliance for Boulder County (HSA), and currently the Secretary/Treasurer for the St. Vrain Community Council (SVCC). He is active in the Mile High United, The Longmont Chamber of Commerce and the Longmont Economic Development Partnership
