Nexus Mixer | Build Day with Habitat for Humanity
Join us for our June Nexus Young Professionals Event! This month we'll be doing a build day with Habitat for Humanity!

About the Build Day
Our construction volunteer opportunities are very hands-on. No construction experience is necessary as we provide tools, instruction, safety gear, and all building materials. Construction volunteers are asked to commit to a full day (8am-4pm with a 1 hour lunch break). We encourage people to wear clothes they do not mind getting dirty. Everyone must participate in a mandatory safety orientation at site the morning of their volunteer day.
Tasks on site vary based on the stage of construction, including but not limited to:
Framing, Siding, and Drywall
Baseboards and flooring
Painting and finish work
Insulation
