A fun and engaging introductory workshop and an opportunity to learn mindfulness practices and skills. This simple and effective way to help quiet the mind, increase attention, awareness and resiliency allows you to become more responsive and less reactive by experiencing new ways to be present in your life.
Participants Will:
• Learn techniques to improve well-being and reduce stress
• Discover how to practice mindfulness through gentle guidance
• Develop resources to help you feel more alive in everyday life
• Participate in open inquiry to explore personal mindfulness practice and bring curiosity to inner experience.
* Learn about the 8-week Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction and Cognitive Therapy programs for managing anxiety and preventing depressive relapse, as well as other mindfulness-based interventions.
