Center for People With Disabilities presents:
All About Service Animals – What you Need to Know
Please join CPWD for a workshop and discussion around service animals.
This workshop is designed for individuals and business owners that want to
learn more about interacting with service animals, laws that protect service
animals and improving customer service for individuals with disabilities. In
this workshop we will cover:
* What is a Service Animal?
* How are Service Animals different from Emotional Support Animals?
* Definitions, rights, and responsibilities of service animal users under the ADA
* Rights and responsibilities of covered entities under the ADA
* Customer Service for individuals with disabilities and best practices
