About Us

UCHealth’s purpose is to give people freedom to live extraordinary lives. On August 31, 2017, Longs Peak Hospital (LPH) officially opened in Longmont.This beautiful full-service hospital, located at the corner of Ken Pratt Boulevard and East County Line Road, provides excellent care close to home for residents of the greater Longmont and the Carbon Valley area. It contains 51 inpatient beds with room to expand to more than 100, and features a Level III trauma center and emergency department, a state-of-the-art intensive care unit, and an advanced birth center with special care nursery.

There are more than 400 providers on the medical staff, which includes independent providers from across the Front Range, as well as partners from Longmont Clinic, Carbon Valley Medical Center, UCHealth Medical Group and the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

LPH features the latest technology and innovation, including virtual ICU, virtual sitter service, and tele-psych for behavior health services. Wearable technology allows us to monitor, blood pressure, pulse, respirations, and oxygen level on a continuous basis without disturbing patients.

Additional services at the hospital include a 24-hour retail pharmacy, laboratory and imaging services.

UCHealth Longs Peak Surgery Center, a 15,000 square-foot outpatient surgery center located on the east end of the hospital’s campus, opened on Oct 2, 2017. It features three operating rooms, an endoscopy suite and a pre- and post-operation area for patients preparing for and recovering from surgery.
