About Us

Founded in 1966, the Longmont Symphony Orchestra’s mission is to enrich, inspire and serve our extended community as a symphony orchestra recognized for its artistic excellence. Each year, the orchestra performs 17 concerts, enjoyed by 15,000+ people. Although the Longmont Symphony Orchestra primarily serves the citizens of the City of Longmont, its sphere of influence encompasses the entire St. Vrain Valley, including Boulder, Weld, Larimer, Broomfield and Adams Counties. The LSO is dedicated to providing opportunities for our school-aged children, seniors, and the underserved community to experience live orchestral music.
