About Wild Plum Center
Wild Plum Center has been providing early childhood education (ECE) and family services to Longmont residents since 1965. Its mission is to prepare children for a lifetime of learning and self-sufficiency by providing a comprehensive, individualized approach to early learning and family wellness. Wild Plum’s primary goal is to ensure that every child meets their developmental milestones and are fully prepared to enter kindergarten. Wild Plum serves children from birth to age 5, pregnant women, and parents from low-income households unable to access childcare and ECE services.
Wild Plum is the designated Early Head Start and Head Start provider for the Longmont community. In addition to these programs, Wild Plum offers an array of additional services to support child development and family self-sufficiency. These include child vision, hearing, dental, and vision screenings; intensive family case management services; mental and behavioral supports, and parent engagement programs.
